Abby Ainsworth is an award winning filmmaker who's experience derives from story-telling and working with real people. Working in the realm of live, unrehearsed and unscripted action has given Abby the knowledge to get the best out of her subjects while working off-the-cuff. Abby's journalistic approach allows her to find the beauty of a story outside its face value. She's directed everything from commercials to feature length documentaries and brings a wealth of both directorial and production experience to the table. Her latest documentary Stage The Culinary Internship (2019) which follows four interns as they work at one of the world's best restaurants Mugaritz has won "Best International Feature Length Documentary" at 2019 Galway Film Fleadh, "People's Choice Award" at the 2019 Toronto Food and Film Festival and "Best Feature-Length Film or Documentary" at the 2020 Taste Awards.  Her work can be seen on CBC, documentary Channel, VGTV, VICE and Air Canada inflight.
